Ana Konjuh in US Open Final in New York

Croatian junior tennis player Ana Konjuh has advanced through to the final of the Junior US Open on Saturday in New York after a straight sets win in the semi-final against Japan’s Mayo Hini 6-3, 6-3. Second seed Konjuh (15) needed just one hour and 27 minutes to make it through to her first US Open final. The Dubrovnik-born teen, who won both the singles and doubles event at the Australian Open earlier this year, will play American Alice Black in the final.
