Croatia has yet another sporting world champion after Tonči Stipanović took out the Men’s Laser class at the world cup sailing regatta in Miami recently…
Stipanović’s win at the ISAF Sailing World Cup in Miami makes him the world number one in his class for the first time, replacing Australian Tom Burton who held the top spot for the last 12 months. Stipanović, who is from Split in Croatia, is a three-time European Laser champion after wins in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
