Another Spectacular Football Ground to Open in Croatia

Croatia is home to some spectacular football grounds, regularly making lists of the most impressive football grounds in the world and now a new one can be added to the list.
NŠK Sveti Mihovil from Sutomišćica has a new ground on the island of Ugljan located on the waterfront which has some impressive surroundings. Now after a long break, senior football matches will be able to be played there.

The opening match on the new ground will take place on 14 May when NK Osijek come to play. A special net may be needed to stop the ball flying into the sea.
NŠK Sveti Mihovil
The club was formed in 1952 under the name Jadran before it became NK Ugljan in 1984. Today the club is called Sveti Mihovil and is made up of two islands – Ugljan and Pašman.
