Ante Gotovina’s Wife: I Waited 11 Years For This Day

The wife of freed Croatian General Ante Gotovina says she has waited 11 years for this day to come.
Dunja Gotovina told Vecernji list that she is just elated that her husband is heading home and that she has waited since 2001 for this day to come.
Mladen Markac’s wife, who with Gotovina was acquitted this morning by The Hague Court, can not believe the decision.
“I can’t believe it. My legs were shaking when the decision was being read out,” said Mirjana Markac, adding that the only important thing is that her husband is now free.
Both Gotovina and Markac are expected back in Croatia after 3pm.
