A former Croatian Masterchef contestant has opened up Croatia’s first Asian ‘street food’ style eatery in the heart of the capital Zagreb.
Wok to Go, located in Varsavska street just behind Zagreb’s famous flower square, is the project of Matija Nikolic and the young chef is keen to bring the culture of consuming food on the street to Zagreb.
“The idea to open Wok to Go was to bring people closure to healthy “street food”. Most of the ingredients which I use for the wok are organic, from my family’s farm. Noodles we also make with our local eggs and flour,” Matija told Vecernji list.
Wok to Go offers a range of meats, tofu, tiger prawn with homemade noodles or rice and they do free delivery for the centre of town.
