ZAGREB, 27 May (Hina) – The Association of Croatian British Professionals ACBP has been founded in London in order to connect Croatian experts living and working in the United Kingdom, the association announced on Friday.
Between 15,000 and 20,000 Croats and their families currently reside in the United Kingdom, and many of them are experts and hold managing positions in various sectors such as finance and IT, culture, education and science.
The association will help organise professional and social events aimed at creating and increasing the community of Croatian talent.
The ACBP wants to be a central place where members will exchange knowledge and experience and actively support each other professionally and privately.
The association made its public debut in April with a reception at the Croatian embassy in London, at which Croatian ambassador to the UK Igor Pokaz gave a talk.
