The Australian-Croatian band Pajdaši has released their first single, titled Zbogom ljubavi, through the iconic Croatia Records label.

Known for their infectious energy and deep ties to Croatian heritage, Pajdaši are taking their musical journey to the next level with this exciting debut.

From viral video sensations to rising stars

Pajdaši first captured the hearts of Croatians around the world in 2017, when a video of them performing a heartfelt rendition of Miroslav Škoro’s Kuća na kraju sela at Sydney Airport went viral.

Who Are Pajdaši?

Founded in 2015, Pajdaši is a tight-knit group of six talented musicians who share not just a love for music but also deep family and cultural connections.

The band’s lineup includes Kristian Golub (Harmonika), Andrija Pejović (Berde), Danijel Ojurović (Bubnjevi), Marko Ojurović (Bas prim 1), Andrija Zaharija (Bas prim 2) and David Zaharija (Kontra).

Hailing from families with roots in Virovitica, Otok Pag, Karlovac, Lika, and Banja Luka, the members were all born in Australia and share a mission to preserve their Croatian heritage through music.

Pajdaši’s members are not only friends but also brothers and cousins, which adds to their unique chemistry and close-knit dynamic.

A Band With a Mission

Faith and community are at the core of everything Pajdaši does. They have become fixtures at Croatian events across Australia, performing regularly in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

Notable highlights include their performance at the 2022 Croatian Soccer Tournament in Sydney, where they played to a crowd of over 3,000, and appearances for the Croatian Studies Foundation and the Croatian Film Festival.

The band’s contributions to the Croatian community have not gone unnoticed, with even a portrait painted by artist Charles Billich capturing their essence. Pajdaši have also shared the stage with celebrated Croatian artists like Mladen Grdović, Dalmatino, and Šima Jovanovac.

With their first single Zbogom ljubavi, Pajdaši is ready to expand their reach while staying true to their roots. The song showcases their passion for traditional Croatian music while blending modern influences, a hallmark of their unique sound.
