MELBOURNE, 17 January 2019 – 22-year-old Borna Ćorić has made light work of his second round match at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday.
The world number 12 was too good for Hungarian Marton Fucsovics and needed just over two hours to win in straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-4. Ćorić will now meet either Filip Krajinović or Evgeny Donskoy in the round of 32.

Veteran Ivo Karlović, who turns 40 in February, bowed out of the tournament on Thursday after putting up a good fight against 8th seed Kei Nishikori. Trailing two sets to love, Karlović came back to win the next two sets to send the match into a 5th set.
After 3 hours and 48 minutes, the Croatian would lose the match in a tiebreaker in the fifth.
