KUK Project, a subsidiary of the large investment fund, presented its plans to the media on Monday after agreeing terms to build ‘Riviera Centre’ with the Opatija City Council. The 120 million euros centre, which will be built in Kuk near the shopping centre there, will include a contemporary designed hotel, a health and wellness center, medical and office facilities, restaurants, and two small sports playgrounds. The project will also see the Austrians help finance the construction of a road, which will lead to the centre.
The project, which is currently in the planning phase, is expected to be complete within the next two years.
