Average price of new-build apartments in Croatia up 5.6%

ZAGREB, Sept 9 (Hina) – The average price of a newly-built apartment in Croatia was HRK 12,824 per square metre in the first half of 2020, which is an increase of 5.6% over the same period in 2019, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
The average price of a newly-built apartment in Zagreb was HRK 14,299 per square metre, which is 15.3% more than last year, while elsewhere it was HRK 11,263, down by 4.2%.
Figures show that 1,452 newly-built apartments were sold in Croatia in the first half of 2020, including 713 in Zagreb and 739 elsewhere.
