Baby Lasagna presents his book “Baby Lasagna and Stipe the Cat – A Great Friendship” at Špancirfest

Croatia’s Eurovision star will bring his star power to Špancirfest in Varaždin where he will present his new picture book, “Baby Lasagna and Stipe the Cat – A Great Friendship.”

Varaždin’s Špancirfest is full of surprises, and one special treat is in store for the youngest visitors. On Tuesday, 27th August, before taking the main PAN stage at Stari Grad with his hit song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim,” Marko Purišić, better known as Baby Lasagna, will be spending time with young festival-goers and their parents, introducing the picture book “Baby Lasagna and Stipe the Cat – A Great Friendship.”

Those who have read the picture book will know that Stipe is no ordinary cat, just as Baby Lasagna is no ordinary performer. Through the eyes of the one-eyed cat Stipe, the story of a hit song that captivated Europe overnight is told, teaching young readers about the importance of support, perseverance, and togetherness—values that are crucial not only in music but in life.

At 10 am, everyone interested in learning more about the adventures of the country’s currently most popular cat, who, like his owner, has captured the nation’s heart, is invited to the courtyard of Villa Bedeković.

Alongside Marko Purišić, the book will be presented by the author of the text and illustrations, Igor Jurilj.

After the book presentation there will be an opportunity to take photos with Baby Lasagna, thanks to the official Špancirfest photographer.
