Croatia’s representative at this year’s Eurovision, Baby Lasagna, has signed a global record deal with Universal Music Group, heralding a new chapter in his musical career.

Baby Lasagna, who has rapidly gained international fame, has signed with Polydor Germany/Universal Music Croatia.

This deal will give him access to Universal Music Group’s global ecosystem, allowing him to connect with audiences beyond the Western Balkans while maintaining a strong bond with fans at home and in the region, daily Večernji list reported.

“I’ve always wanted to experiment with music and create projects that aren’t confined to one genre. I’m delighted to have found like-minded people who are eager to embark on this new chapter with me and present my music to a global audience.

We’ve just finished recording a new song and video, which I can’t wait to share with everyone. Also, there’s an album in the works with a lot of new sounds. I’m thrilled to present this release to the audience and can’t wait to see and hear their reactions. I eagerly look forward to what the future holds,” said Marko Purišić, known as Baby Lasagna.

“We’ve been working with Marko and his team since January this year. Baby Lasagna is an incredibly talented and creative artist who has the special X factor needed to captivate a global audience. I’m extremely grateful for the trust he has placed in us and the opportunity to partner in this new and exciting chapter of his career.

Polydor Germany, as his new record label, and we at Universal Music Croatia, are very happy to pave the way for such an artist to reach a global audience. We look forward to his upcoming releases and the development of his career,” said Fabian Stilke, General Manager of Universal Music Western Balkans.

Baby Lasagna captivated the global audience during Eurovision with his unique sound and incredible stage presence. “We firmly believe in his talent and ability to connect with an even wider global audience and become a true global music star. We have big plans for him and are thrilled to officially begin our collaboration with him, his local team, and Universal Music Croatia,” stated Daniel Schmidt, Senior Vice President of Polydor/Island & Ventura Records.
