Barcelona make Ivan Rakitic a club legend

Former Croatian international Ivan Rakitić has been included among Barcelona legends.
Alongside Rakitić, who now plays for Al Shabab in the Saudi Arabian football league, Brazil’s Neymar was also included among the players who have shaped the history of the club.
Arriving in the summer of 2014, Rakitić, consistently featured as a midfielder throughout his entire tenure at Barça. He ranks fifth for most appearances by a foreign player.
Originally signed from Sevilla FC, Rakitić was already a prominent figure known for his tactical acumen, adaptability, and unwavering commitment. He exceeded expectations, establishing himself as one of the standout players for Barça during his time, the club said.
His crowning moment came in the 2015 Champions League Final in Berlin, where he scored the opening goal in a memorable 3-1 victory.
