Beautiful Croatia Launches in New York with a Showcase of Croatian Creativity

“A stylish evening in New York – Croatian Fashion, Photography and Music” was a fabulous fusion of some of the best Croatian creators and creations. The most successful Croatian haute couture fashion designer in America, Sylvio Roubertto Kovacic shared his story and models showcased beautiful dresses from his latest Maestro collection.

Croatian-New Yorker, Marijana Marinovic, photographer and journalist of Europa Press Holdings, showcased beautiful portraits of famous Croatians and Americans and New York City.

Guests were entertained by special music remixes produced by the young and talented DJ Petra of Dubrovnik and Astoria-based folklore group Hrvatska Ruža performed centuries old Croatian folk dances and then led a fun-filled kolo with guests at the event.

The promotion of Croatia, its talent and culture has never been done on this level before and the event took place in exclusive and private area on the 18th floor of the Monarch Rooftop. The event also marked the launch of Beautiful Croatia, a stylish, online boutique travel website, promoting travel to Croatia and its diverse attractions.

Beautiful Croatia also delivers exclusive experiences and events in Croatia and abroad, providing professional, boutique event planning services upon request.

Australian-born founding director of Beautiful Croatia, Amanda Grbavac, says she Croatia grew fond of Croatia during her studies at the American College of Management and Technology, in Dubrovnik, now RIT Croatia.

“Ever since my studies I have been dreaming of a way to come back to live my passion in a country that I adore. That passion, I discovered, is Beautiful Croatia,” Amanda said.
