Turkish first division club Besiktas have sacked their Croatian coach Slaven Bilić…
Turkish media reports that Besiktas President Fikret Orman has confirmed that he has no intentions of retaining the former Croatia head coach next season after he failed to guide Besiktas to the title this season. With two rounds still remaining, Besiktas have no possible chance to win the league after losing on Saturday 1-0. Bilić, who said after the loss that he was expecting to lose his job, will lead the club in their last two fixtures of the season.
The bookies in the UK have Bilić as second favourite behind Rafael Benitez to replace Sam Allardyce next season at West Ham, a club Bilić spent time at as a player.
