Big Croatian cloud communications platform Infobip, which was recently named on the list of the world’s most innovative companies, has opened a office in eastern Croatia.
Infobip, based out of Vodnjan, haas opened its new office in Osijek at the Eurodom.
With this move, the leading global IT and telecommunications company officially expanded its operations to Osijek, further enlarging the circle of IT companies with offices in the city by the Drava River.
The opening of the new office was attended by Deputy Mayor of the City of Osijek, Jasenka Crnković.
“I am pleased that we have gathered today at Eurodom to celebrate and ceremonially open Infobip’s newly established office in Osijek, a leading global IT and telecommunications company. I believe that with this opening, Osijek’s IT scene will become even stronger and will continue to grow.
By supporting such events, the City of Osijek demonstrates its partnership with entrepreneurs, in this case, the IT sector, with which we have excellent cooperation, which I believe will continue in the future. Also, I believe that Osijek’s Infobip will find quality professional staff among Osijek’s students and, consequently, continuously expand the circle of employees in this office,” said Deputy Mayor Crnković.
“As one of the largest companies in Croatia, we are pleased to have the opportunity to collaborate with the local community and universities in Osijek. Here, there are many young people who are technically skilled, and based on that, we plan to expand this office. Currently, we have 27 employees, and with this new space, we expect even more,” said Dražen Radanović, the manager of Infobip’s office in Osijek.
“Our new office in Osijek is the sixth Infobip office in Croatia and is also an engineering office. We are very pleased to have an office in Osijek because we are now present throughout Croatia, and we believe that, based on what we have seen so far, there are indeed quality engineering professionals here.
We are glad to enable people in this area to work on global communication projects. We plan to further collaborate with schools and universities in the Osijek area, as we do elsewhere, and I am confident that it will be a beautiful synergy,” concluded Izabel Jelenić, co-founder and CTO of Infobip.
