22 February 2019 – British pop band Morcheeba will play a free concert in the Croatian capital in May.
Morcheeba will return to Zagreb and play on 17 May 2019 at the Zagreb Beer Fest, organisers confirmed on Friday. The Zagreb gig is part of the band’s tour promoting their latest studio album ‘Blaze Away’.
Led by vocalist Skye Edwards, Morcheeba first broke onto the world stage in the mid-90’s with their hugely popular first album and had a number of hits like ‘Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day’, ‘Trigger Hippie’, and ‘Part Of The Process’.
Zagreb Beer Fest is now in its third year and has quickly earned the status of the most visited festival of its kind in Croatia. The 3rd Zagreb Beer Fest will take place over four days from 16-19 May 2019 at Franjo Tuđman park in the centre of Zagreb.
Around 50,000 people attend over the four days last year.
Joining Morcheeba will be Urban & 4, Detour, Boris Štok, Luce, Rolo and Electric Octopus with more acts to be confirmed.
Zagreb Beer Fest will again present over 150 different types of beers with entry again free.
