The legacy of Croatian basketball legend Drazen Petrovic will be celebrated by his former club.
The Brooklyn Nets will play tribute to Petrovic when they play the Chicago Bulls on 26 February 2018.
The match will be dedicated to Petrovic, who tragically passed away in a car accident in Germany almost 25 years ago.
At the start of the night, a video tribute to the great will play. The first 10,000 fans who turn up will receive a Drazen Petrovic STARTING LINEUP ™ Figurine.

Also, a number of Petrovic-themed activities are being planned, and there will be five new Petrovic items in the Swag Shop along with an NBA Jam arcade machine, where fans can play as “Petro” in the classic game. Autographed and game-worn items from Petrovic will also be on display, NBA.com says.
Petrovic’s mother, Biserka, will fly over from Croatia to be at the match.
Petrović enjoyed an illustrious career with the New Jersey Nets, averaging 20.6 points in 36.9 minutes on the floor, and nearly leading all NBA guards in field goal percentage (51%). He did not miss a single game.
