Bureaucracy To Become History With E-Permit Introduction

The bureaucratic nightmare of obtaining construction permits in Croatia is set to be a thing of the past later this year.

From September investors will no longer have to wait for what was sometimes as long as 2-3 years for a building permit. The Ministry of Construction has confirmed on Monday that e-permits, which will be able to be obtained online with just a few clicks of the mouse, will be introduced. The new e-permits will be issued within one month.

This is the third time the announcement has been made however, the former Minister of Construction previously stated that at the start of 2013 e-permits will start, that decision was delayed then until 1 July, and now on Monday until September this year.
