Camping Stobreč Split ranked among best in Europe

ZAGREB, 23 Jan (Hina) – The German ADAC auto club has included Croatia’s Camping Stobreč Split among the best campsites in Europe with Superplatz status, which 190 campsites in Europe carry, it was said on Monday.
ADAC inspectors gave Camping Stobreč Split the best ratings across all five criteria required for the Superplatz award – Grounds, Bathing, Recreation, Campsite stores, and Sanitary.

Camping Stobreč Split is the only campsite in the Split area, so the Superplatz award is important both for local and national tourism and the international branding of Split and Croatia.

The campsite covers five hectares, has 55 mobile homes, including two for persons with disabilities, and 208 plots with power, water and sanitary facilities as well as 52 camping places.

It can accommodate 1,100 guests and last year registered over 148,000 nights.
