The Croatian Government have posted a photo update on its Facebook page of the new international terminal being built in Zagreb…
Construction is going ahead of plans and already the shape of the new terminal can been seen.
French-led Zagreb Airport International Company (ZAIC), won a 30-year concession to manage and operate Zagreb International Airport.
Four Croatian companies – Viadukt, Kamgrad, Zagreb Montaža Grupa and KFK Tehnika – are carrying out most of the construction work. Around 2,000 people are currently working on site.
Total investment in the new terminal will reach 331 million euros, with most of the work complete by spring next year. The new terminal is expected to open in March 2017.
