Celine Dion’s first Croatia concert postponed

ZAGREB, 24 April 2020 – Canadian singer Celine Dion will not be performing in the Croatian capital as scheduled in June.
Dion was set to perform for the first time in Croatia at Arena Zagreb on 5 June as part of her ‘Courage World Tour’ but on Friday it was announced that the first months of the European tour has been postponed.
“Due to the precautionary measures that are being activated for the purpose of preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the first few months of the European part of the tour, including the concert in Zagreb Arena on June 5th, have been postponed. Zagreb concert is a part of the world tour which began on September 18th, 2019 in Quebec. 28 sold-out concerts in 19 cities have been postponed. We are in the process of negotiating with the artist management and the Arena Zagreb regarding the new date which will be announced soon,” organisers said in a statement.
Already purchased ticket will be valid for the new date, the statement added.
Besides concerts in cities across the UK and Germany, Dion was set to visit Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Malta, Cyprus and Croatia.
The tour is named after Dion’s 12th album in English which dropped on 15 November 2019 and features singles “Lying Down”, “Courage” and “Imperfections”.
