Cest is d’Best International Street Festival in Zagreb in May

3 May 2019 – The 23rd edition of the oldest international street festival in Croatia – Cest is d’Best – will be held this year in Zagreb from 29 May – 2 June 2019.
The festival, which was first held in 1997, will see around 500 street entertainers from over 20 countries around the world, including clowns, trumpet players, musicians, dancers, jugglers, and acrobats, entertain locals and tourists daily in the Croatian capital, bringing over 700 hours of laughter at a number of locations around the city centre.
Stages will be located on the main Ban Jelačić trg, as well as in Cvjetni, Zrinjevac, Strossmayerovo šetalište, Bogovićeva,Tkalčićeva, Europski trg, and for the first time in Novi Zagreb at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Cest is d’ Best is an international multimedia street festival, which aims to preserve Zagreb’s identity, livens city streets and squares, bringing them back charm and optimism. Its aim also is to bring closer all generations of citizens through various cultural preferences.
