This year, Advent in the Croatian city of Velika Gorica brings a unique Christmas fairy tale

Hyperion Winter Pub was opened as a part of Advent in Velika Gorica, which is located just outside of the capital Zagreb.

You won’t see anything like it at any other Advent in Croatia, or even beyond, and that’s why it’s worth making a trip to Gorica this year.

Winter Pub is a huge bouncy house in the shape of a castle, inside which the owner has created a real pub with handmade wooden furniture, a bar and a D.J. stand. He decorated it so that its interior provides a magical Christmas atmosphere.

If you end up at the Winter Pub during Advent, it doesn’t matter if it’s raining or if temperatures are in the minus outside, because in the Pub you are in a covered, dry and heated interior that exudes the magic of Advent.

In this unique environment, you can enjoy fine coffees, hot chocolate, mulled wine, gin, various hot cocktails, brandies…and you must also try the fine fritters with Nutella, hot dog or a sausage.

If you still prefer an outdoor atmosphere, you can drink your favourite drink on the terrace in front of the pub next to wooden barrels, antique sleighs, wooden carts and pine trees, and be accompanied by hand-painted barrels with the image of the Nutcracker.

Winter Pub is also the right place for partygoers because on weekends they are open until 2 am and D.J. plays only the best dance hits.
