Chile Too Hot For Croatia

The Croatian U20 football team has been knocked out at the quarter-final stage of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey at the hands of Chile. The South Americans struck twice in the last 10 minutes of the match to send the Croatians crashing out of the tournament.
Goals to Nicolas Castillo in the 81st minute, followed by a Jozo Simunovic own goal 4 minutes later killed off Croatia’s hopes of making the semi finals. Croatia’s best chance fell to Marko Livaja, but the Italian based striker could not convert. Once again Croatia’s Ante Rebic worked hard but when Castillo’s backward header found the back of the net with less than 10 minutes to go it was good night for the Croatians.
