Christmas Corner opens in Zagreb Airport terminal

Zagreb, November 29, 2022 – Zagreb Airport has opened today Christmas Corner in the check-in area of the passenger terminal.
This is a place of good vibes, a meeting and photo point and during the festive time various humanitarian organisations will present their projects and activities in the corner, such as, Unicef, Crveni nosovi (Red Noses), Vg Legacy, SOS Children’s Village Croatia, Centre for education Velika Gorica, Silver rehabilitation centre Zagreb and others.

Children’s choirs, dance groups, youth orchestra So Do El Sistema Croatia will perform on the weekends at Christmas Corner.

The idea is for Christmas Corner is to be a corner of goodness, so today’s opening started with the “Giving Tuesday” action, with which airport workers donate toys for residents and children of the Centre for Education in Velika Gorica.

Zagreb Airport signed a Charter of Cooperation and Friendship with the Velika Gorica Education Centre in year 2016 which is based on mutual understanding, equality and interest in joint cooperation.
This is one of a series of projects in Zagreb Airport CSR activities.
