CNN Travel’s list of 21 most underrated places in Europe includes one in Croatia

One place in Croatia has made the list of the 21 most underrated in Europe published by CNN Travel this week.
Europe is full of many wonderful, underrated places which many tourists do not visit, CNN Travel said before listing their 21 most underrated places.
Making the list was the city of Pula in Croatia, home to the famous Pula Arena. In their write up, CNN Travel says that the city is a nice change from the crowds in more popular places in Croatia like Dubrovnik.
“Croatia has another beautiful city which doesn’t feel overrun. Pula, on the Istrian peninsula, has sweeping views over the Adriatic as well as Roman ruins at every turn and spectacular beaches. The cuisine takes its cues from Italy (of which Istria was part until 1947) and the local wine is to die for,” CNN Travel said.

Besides Pula, places in Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland and England made the list.
