One of most popular stand-up comedians going around is returning to Croatia later this year.
Jimmy Carr is bringing his new show “Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny” to Zagreb, promoters Aquarius Records announced.
After two years, the Netflix star returns to Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, where he previously sold out two shows in one day, on Tuesday, November 26th of this year.
Carr has deepened his popularity worldwide with four Netflix specials, and he was also the first British comedian to have a contract with this streaming giant, which, along with his unique brand of humour, has enabled him numerous other projects and appearances – he is a regular guest on the most prestigious British and American television shows such as The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
The British newspaper The Guardian described Carr as “the comedic hero of our time”, a sentiment echoed by the audience, with his last tour “Terribly Funny”, during which he held sold-out shows in Zagreb and Belgrade, watched by over 1.2 million people in 45 countries, making him the comedian with the largest international tour in history.
In Zagreb, Carr comes with his latest material “Laughs Funny”, composed of 100% new and never-before-published material.
Tickets for the show ‘Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny’ at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall are available on Entrio.hr.
The show is intended for audiences over the age of sixteen and lasts 90 minutes without an intermission and will be performed entirely in English without translation.
