Cro Cop Makes Generous Gesture to Say Thanks to Fans

Legendary Croatian mixed martial artist Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipović, who will step out of retirement to fight in Tokyo in September, will say thank you to fans for their support with a generous gesture…
Cro Cop, who announced his retirement earlier this year, will fight at the Saitama Arena in Tokyo on 25 September 2016 and he is giving the opportunity for two of his fans to join him on a once in a lifetime trip.
Filipović wants to thank his fans for their support over his illustrious career, which saw him become the second fighter in the world to win mixed martial arts and kickboxing championships (2006 Pride Open-Weight Grand Prix and the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix). He will give two of his fans an opportunity to join him, all expenses paid, in Japan. He made the announcement on Facebook.
“Dear friends,
In this few years that I’m on FB I have met really nice people who follows me through all my career and who gives me support in all my decisions and on that I thank you from my heart. Only way to give back all that love is with good results and good fights. Through comments and messages I have meet a lot of people, few of them I met in person, in a sign of respect and simpathy that follows me true all my carrier I have decided to take two of my biggest fans in Japan, they will be my guests for my next fight, 25.09.16 in the legendary Saitama super arena. I will give them a flights tickets, hotel rooms, and vip tickets near the ring. It’s my sign of respect for all of you that follows me all this years, who were with my in my joys and sorrows. There are so many fans that deserves to be in Japan, but I can’t bring all of you. Tomorrow I will post two names who will go with me, they are people who have contact with me through comments and inbox messages. Tomorrow I will post it, I wish all of you a good evening,” – wrote Cro Cop on his Facebook page.
