A chance for fans in London to see legendary Croatian fighter Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ fight in May.

Filipovic will fight for the first time in Bellator MMA. Cro Cop will meet Roy Nelson at Bellator 200 on May 25, 2018 at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England.

The 43-year-old, who last fought in Japan on New Year’s Eve, will return to the octagon to fight the 41-year-old American who won by technical knockout the last time they met at UFC 137 in Las Vegas six years ago.

Cro Cop is on a streak of eight wins in a row. His best ever sequence of wins in MMA. The Croatian is one of the greatest heavyweights in kickboxing and mixed martial arts’ history as is expected to draw a big crowd in London.

The main fight of the night at the 12,500-capacity arena will be the Middleweight championships title fight between Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi.

Bellator MMA, which is a mixed martial arts promotion based in the United States, has been around for 10 years and in 2018 it marks the fourth time that Bellator MMA has done monthly shows as opposed to a seasonal format.
