Croat Martin Dolenc is the new World Kite Racing Junior Champion…
15-year-old Dolenc, who is the Croatian champion, has won the U-18 World Kite Racing Championships which was held this weekend in Italy. Dolenc also picked up bronze in the U-21 event and was 9th in the senior category.
“I am very happy, after winning two bronze medals I have finally won gold. I am also very happy to finish 9th in the senior category. The competition was very difficult and I can not wait to get home and have a break,” said the teen champion from Medulin.
Dolenc previously finished 3rd at the World U-18 champs in 2013 and 2014. He was the Croatian champion in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
