Former Croatian international Mladen Petrić has moved from Fulham to fellow London side West Ham United. Petrić joins the Hammers for the rest of the 2013/2014 season.
“I’m very happy, excited and looking forward to training with the team and to the first game,” Petric said. “I know [the Premier League] and I’m happy to be back in the Premier League, because it’s a fantastic league and I’m really looking forward to being part of this team and this Club,” said the striker on the club’s official website.
Petric, who scored 51 goals in the German Budesliga with Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg, is remembered in Croatia for scoring the winner against England at Wembley which knocked them out of Euro 2008.
