Croatia Airlines Announce More Flight Cuts

Last week Croatia Week reported on the decision from Croatia’s national carrier Croatia Airlines to cancel its Dubrovnik – Frankfurt service starting this autumn. On Monday further cuts were announced as the troubled airline starts its rigorous restructuring programme.

Croatia Airlines will cancel flights from the capital Zagreb to London Gatwick and also from Dubrovnik to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Paris cancellation is further bad news to authorities in Dubrovnik, who were not shy in showing their disappointment after the Frankfurt service was cancelled last week. Croatia Airlines had earlier suspended its Gatwick Airport connection, but have confirmed that the route will not be making a comeback in the winter. Amongst the cuts there was also news of increases. More flights to the EU capital Brussels have been announced.
