Croatia Airlines Cancels Flights After Cabin Crew Call In Sick

Croatia Airlines woes continue. Just days after it was announced that Croatia’s financially troubled national carrier would go up for sale, it has on Wednesday cancelled flights because of cabin crew calling in sick.
May 1 is a public holiday in Croatia and the airlines had to cancel three lines because they did not have enough cabin crew staff to service the flights after a wave of ‘sick leave’ was taken.
Zagreb – Brussels – Zagreb, Zagreb – Munich – Zagreb and Zagreb – Vienna – Zagreb were the flights which had to be cancelled on Wednesday. Croatia Airlines apologised for the cancellations and offered passengers alternatives on its partner airlines.
