Croatia Airlines launches first international route from Osijek

ZAGREB, 23 September 2021 – Croatia Airlines has announced its first International route from Osijek on Thursday.
In the initiative of the Slavonia-Baranja Tourist Board, the City of Osijek and Osijek Airport, Croatia Airlines signed an agreement on business cooperation today, announcing a new line in the winter flight schedule.
Osijek-Munich, which is the first international route of Croatia Airlines from that airport, will commence on November 15, 2021 and will operate through until to January 14, 2022.
Flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
The director of Osijek Airport, Ivan Kos, said ticket sales officially begins today with the price ranging from 129 euros.To celebrate the new route, Croatia Airlines is giving a 25% discount on Osijek – Munich flights.

Croatia Airlines will use a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, with a capacity of 76 seats on the route.
“I believe that the establishment of cooperation with Croatia Airlines is only the first step in a series of other flights, because they are intensively thinking about other destinations. We chose Munich because it is a large European centre that allows connections to other European destinations, such as Amsterdam, Paris or London. the citizens of eastern Croatia have a connection with the whole of Europe,” Kos said.
