London, 5 November 2024 – Croatia Airlines, the Croatian national carrier, is currently presenting its offerings at the WTM fair in London (5-7 November) at the stand of the Croatian National Tourist Board.
In the summer flight schedule for 2025 (25 March – 25 October), Croatia Airlines plans to operate flights to all 28 international destinations that were directly connected to Croatia during this year’s tourist season.
Some seasonal routes will commence as early as the end of March next year and will run until the end of October 2025. This move continues the airline’s contribution to extending the tourist season in Croatia.
The airline also plans to expand its international flight network and gradually increase the number of flights during the summer season, in line with the anticipated delivery of new Airbus A220 aircraft.
In July of this year, the company introduced its first A220 aircraft, marking the start of a complete fleet renewal expected to be completed by 2027—the largest project in the company’s 35-year history.
The arrival of a second A220 is expected by the end of this year, with three more set to be delivered by the peak of next year’s tourist season. This will enable further growth, development of the destination network, and an increase in available seats.
Consequently, a total of 73 routes are planned (eight more than this year), with a 12% increase in flight frequency and a 14% rise in flight hours at the peak of the season compared to this year.
During this period, over 108,000 seats will be available weekly, representing a substantial 57% increase. However, the realisation of these plans will depend on securing the necessary slots and the timely delivery of the new aircraft.
Croatia Airlines is also unveiling a new visual identity. With a redesigned logo and new interior and exterior aircraft designs, the company remains true to its distinctive identity while emphasising core values: quality, safety, reliability, technical excellence, travel comfort, and hospitality.
The logo design is now more closely aligned with the aircraft tail design, for which the airline is well-known.
“I am delighted that next year our national carrier plans to continue flying to 28 international destinations with a significantly increased number of flights and seats.
The importance of air transport to Croatian tourism is undeniable, especially in connecting Croatia with key European markets outside the peak summer months, during the pre- and post-season when there is room for tourism growth.
High-quality air connectivity is a fundamental prerequisite for positioning Croatia as a sustainable, easily accessible, and attractive year-round destination,” said Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board. He added that next year will feature numerous collaborations, including the promotion of the authentic gastronomic offerings of Croatia’s tourist regions on Croatia Airlines flights.
