Croatia announce squad for EURO qualifiers against Slovakia & Azerbaijan

ZAGREB, 19 August 2019 – Croatia football coach Zlatko Dalić has announced his squad on Monday ahead of the upcoming EURO 2020 qualifiers against Slovakia and Azerbaijan next month.
The World Cup runners-up will play Slovakia away on 6 September, 20:45 (Friday), before meeting Azerbaijan on 9 September, 18:00 (Monday).
Today Dalić named his squad and there has been a call-up for the first time for in-form Dinamo Zagreb striker Mislav Oršić.
Croatia squad:
Goalkeepers: Lovre Kalinić, Dominik Livaković, Simon Sluga
Defenders: Domagoj Vida, Dejan Lovren, Tin Jedvaj, Matej Mitrović, Borna Barišić, Karlo Bartolec, Mile Škorić, Dario Melnjak
Midfielders: Luka Modrić, Ivan Rakitić, Mateo Kovačić, Milan Badelj, Marcelo Brozović, Mario Pašalić, Nikola Vlašić
Strikers: Ivan Perišić, Ante Rebić, Josip Brekalo, Bruno Petković, Mislav Oršić
On-call: Andrej Kramarić (injury cloud and will join squad if he recovers), Marko Rog, Filip Benković, Mijo Caktaš, Josip Juranović, Antonio Mirko Čolak

Croatia are currently in second equal spot in the group with a game in hand over group leaders Hungary. The top two teams in the group will automatically qualify for the EURO 2020 tournament.
