Croatia Asks Facebook For Details About 24 People

The Croatian police are increasingly asking Facebook to help them in investigations and to provide data about individual users of the popular social network…
In the first 7 months of this year there have been 19 such requests relating to 24 Croatian Facebook users, up from 2 requests in the same period last year. In the second half of last year there were 7 more requests relating to 14 Croatian Facebook users. Most of this year’s requests (79%), have been met by Facebook, according to Facebook’s latest transparency report.
Although the number of requests were revealed, details regarding the individual users and the crimes which were being investigated, have not been.
