The shovels will be out once again this week as some serious snow fall in Croatia is forecast…
According to one of the world’s most popular met services Accuweather, the capital Zagreb could see close to half a metre of snow fall in 48 hours later this week. The week will start off dry in most places, but early on Thursday morning a blanket of snow is expected to cover most of the country. The worst is expected between the early hours of Thursday and Friday evening, with even northern parts of the Adriatic coast possibly getting a sprinkling of snow also.
Temperatures will hover around zero degrees, dropping to a low of -2°C on Thursday, however once the snow stops falling temperatures on the weekend of -8°C on Saturday and -10°C on Sunday are forecast.
