Croatia Days Festival in Vancouver to start next week

The Croatian Cultural Centre is once again hosting the annual, “CROATIA DAYS FESTIVAL” in June, 2019 in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

This annual event opens the doors of Canada’s largest Croatian Cultural Centre to the Vancouver area and celebrates everything that is Croatian.

As a part of this year’s festivities, guests will enjoy free admission as well as live entertainment, folk dancing, music, choir performances, a children’s play area, futsal, video entertainment, a variety of fresh food, video entertainment and a beer garden.

CROATIA DAYS FESTIVAL will be held from 14 – 16 June 2019.

The event is being hosted by the “United Croats of Canada” King Tomislav Branch, with support from the Vancouver Croatia Soccer Club as well as Hrvatska Seljacka Stranka. All three of the groups have existed in Vancouver for over 60 years.

CROATIA DAYS FESTIVAL

FRIDAY – June 14 (Presented by: Croatia Sports Club)

Men’s Soccer Tournament (3v3 Futsal) – Parking Lot Cage Matches (5pm – 10pm / Admission = FREE for spectators)

• Featuring Special Guest Comentators
• Men’s Team Registration($100 for each adult team of 5)
• The kid’s Soccer Tournament will be held the next day (see below for registration)

Beer Garden / Café Patio (Outdoor Only)(5pm – 10pm / Admission = FREE. Food & Beverages available for purchase)

• Barbeque
• Beer (Local & Croatian)

Upstairs Bar / Pub Night (9pm – 1am / Admission = FREE. Food & Beverages available for purchase)

• Music entertainment by visiting and local musicians

SATURDAY – June 15 (OPEN HOUSE – Croatian Cultural Centre)

Doors open at 10am (10:00am – 10:00pm)

• Music and cultural displays from all regions of Croatia
• Food and beverages will be available for purchase
• Enjoy specialty beers imported from Croatia

Kids Soccer Tournament (3v3 Futsal) – Parking Lot Cage Matches (3pm – 6pm)

• Child Registration (FREE – The teams will be put together based on age)

Cultural Displays (10:00am – 10pm)
