Croatia has been drawn in Group B for this summer’s U-19 European Championships in Germany…
Croatia was drawn in the same group as Netherlands, France, and England at the European Championships which will be held from 11-24 July in Germany.
Ferdo Milin’s side will play Netherlands on 12 July in Ulm, France on 15 July in Aalen, and England on 18 July in Heidenheim. Hosts Germany will play in Group A, alongside Italy, Portugal, and Austria.
“This is a tough group with motivating opponents. England ousted Spain in qualifying, France finished the Elite Round with all three victories and without conceding a goal, but maybe it is better for us to play the best teams. They provide us with extra motivation. They can even underestimate us, since we have many players from ’98 generation. However, we will be ready and try to achieve our aim, to be among the five best teams in Europe”, said head coach Milin.
Croatia qualified through Qualifying Round against Montenegro, Hungary, and Kazakhstan, and the Elite Round against Belgium, Scotland, and Bulgaria.
