Croatia drops a spot in latest FIFA rankings

4 April 2019 – Croatia has dropped one place in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
After a loss to Hungary in EURO 2020 qualifying last month, Zlatko Dalić’s side has dropped from 4th to 5th in the rankings. been replaced at number four in the rankings by England. a
Victories over Montenegro and Czech Republic in March has helped Gareth Southgate’s England side replace Croatia in fourth, which is their joint second highest rating in history.
Belgium are still in number one spot, ahead of World Cup winners France in second place and Brazil in third.
Croatia face Wales, who are ranked in 19th spot on the latest FIFA rankings next in EURO 2020 qualifying in June.
Uruguay and Portugal are 6th and 7th respectively, with Switzerland, Spain and Denmark completing the top 10. Germany rose three places to No. 13 after beating the Netherlands in March.
