Croatia drops out of Top 10 in new FIFA rankings

Croatia drops out of Top 10

18 July 2024 – Croatia’s national football team have dropped out of the Top 10 in the in the FIFA rankings which were released today.

FIFA’s latest rankings comes after the completion of Copa America and Euro 2024.

Croatia’s early exit at Euro 2024, which saw them lose to Spain and draw with Albania and Italy, means they have dropped 3 places from the last rankings.

Croatia is now ranked 12th in the world.

Argentina, who added the Copa America to their World Cup, remained top of the list in number one spot with 1901.48 points.

Euro winners Spain made the biggest move in the top 10, climbing five places to number three in the world. England, who reached their second consecutive Euro final, are in fourth place.

Venezuela made the biggest leap in the latest rankings, up from 54th to 37th position, gaining 17 places.

Croatia will have a chance to improve their rankings after the Nations League matches in September.

Croatia will meet Portugal on 5th of September and Poland three days later.
