Croatia has presented its Medical Tourism offerings at one of the world’s leading fairs specialising in Medical Tourism in Monaco.
Croatia joined 90 exhibitors from 27 countries at The International Medical Travel Exhibition and Conference (IMTEC), the world’s first global medical travel event to provide a platform to network with the entire global market in one place, and there was plenty of interest in what Croatia has to offer, reports Croatian radiotelevision.
Visitors and business partners at the fair, which was held last week in the Principality of Monaco, were particulary interested in dental services, rehabilitation facilities and wellness and cosmetic procedures in all parts of Croatia.
During the fair the newly established Global Healthcare Travel Council was promoted, with Croatia offered an honorary place in the Council, and Croat Zoran Jelic put forward for the position of Vice President of the council.
Affordability, availability, specialization and quality of treatment are key reasons why more and more people are travelling abroad to receive medical, dental and surgical procedures and IMTEC 2013 provided a place for the global medical travel industry to meet, do business, network and formulate best practice under one roof.
