Croatia Left Without US Open Hope

Croatia is left without a representative in the singles event of tennis’ last Grand Slam of the year after world number 2 Rafael Nadal knocked out Croatia’s Ivan Dodig in the 3rd round of the US Open today. Nadal needed two hours and 9 minutes to beat the spirited Croat in straight sets sa 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 at Flushing Meadows.
