Croatia makes most beautiful TV series locations in the world for two shows

Popular US travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveller, has ranked Croatia among the most beautiful television locations in the world in two popular HBO series – Game of Thrones and Succession. 

The article entitled “The most beautiful TV series locations in the world” emphasises the city of Dubrovnik, which in the popular series Game of Thrones represents King’s Landing and the island of Korcula and the Croatian coast where a luxury cruise in the series Succession takes place.

Game of Thrones was filmed in Dubrovnik, as well as Split, Šibenik, Trogir and Makarska over a number of years. The second and final season of the HBO series Succession was filmed on the island of Korčula and parts of the coast in the summer of 2019.

Condé Nast Traveler is a luxury and lifestyle magazine that has won 25 national awards and is published by Condé Nast.

Also, the renowned American daily The New York Times states that Croatia is still on the list of countries open to American citizens, reported Ina Rodin, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the United States.

The popular American newspaper, which is read by over 400 million readers a month, published an article with a list of countries that are open to American citizens or are about to open soon. 

Croatia is on the list in the company of countries such as the Bahamas, Brazil, Egypt, Malta, Turkey, Great Britain, etc. The article emphasises that American citizens need proof of reserved accommodation to enter Croatia, as well as a negative PCR test. to the corona virus, made in the previous 48 hours of entering the country.
