Croatia ranked safest country in Europe for night walks for second year in a row

ZAGREB, 13 Feb (Hina) – The World of Statistics portal has ranked Croatia as the safest country in Europe for night-time walks for the second year in a row.

Whilst Croatia has been named the safest, France has been named the most unsafe country for walking at night.

According to the ranking of 41 European countries, based on safety while walking alone at night, the top five safest countries are Croatia, Slovenia, Iceland, Georgia and Switzerland.

Czechia is ranked sixth, Denmark seventh, Estonia eighth, Finland ninth, the Netherlands tenth, Montenegro 11th, Serbia 15th, North Macedonia 17th, and Bosnia and Herzegovina 26th.

Among the less safe countries in Europe for night-time walks are Sweden, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Belarus.
