ZAGREB, 14 November 2022 – The heads of two large national companies, Croatia Records director Želimir Babogredac and Croatia Airlines CEO Jasmin Bajić, signed a cooperation agreement today at the premises of Croatia Records.
The companies with headquarters in Zagreb and with a regional and international reputation will, with this agreement, provide numerous benefits to all their users in the future, related to discounts when buying airline tickets, albums, vinyl records, books about music and other musical content, and they will publish joint actions through social networks.
Croatia Records is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, it is the leading record label in the region and a leader in all segments of its business, which with a wide musical repertoire and a large number of performers continues a long-standing tradition and fills its rich archive with valuable recordings.
In its thirty-three years, the national air carrier Croatia Airlines has built a respectable and complete service in domestic and international air transport, and its operations permanently contribute to the development of Croatian tourism and economy.
Satisfied with the signed cooperation agreement and the common goal of the two national companies, the signatories of the agreement stated:
“Two big national brands work and do business all over the world, and this joint cooperation will mutually improve both the business and media significance of the business they are engaged in. Technology works wonders, especially in music, so that not only airplanes and their passengers fly in the air today, but also hundreds of thousands of songs produced under the labels Jugoton and Croatia Records,” said Želimir Babogredac, director of Croatia Records.
“I am very pleased that we have found a common business interest with the largest record label in Croatia and that today the cooperation between two recognisable Croatian brands, Croatia Records and Croatia Airlines, begins. As part of this agreement by which we have defined the harmonisation of promotional activities, we will offer additional benefits to users of the services of both companies. We will offer musicians and other users of Croatia Records services a certain discount on our airline tickets, and at the same time our passengers have the opportunity to obtain certain discounts on Croatia Records services. I believe that our cooperation will develop to mutual satisfaction and I look forward to new meetings in our planes,” said Jasmin Bajić, CEO of Croatia Airlines.
