Croatia will be hoping to improve on its bronze medal it won two years ago at the World Champs in Barcelona, and Ivica Tucak’s team made the perfect start in the early match on Monday winning 12-7 (4-2, 6-2, 1-0, 1-3). In Croatia’s group Brazil and China drew 9-9. Croatia’s next opponents are Brazil, who are coached by Croat Ratko Rudić, on Wednesday.
