Croatia Strengthens Ties With Azerbaijan And Iran

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has arrived in the Croatian capital Zagreb with his delegation where they are set to hold talks with their Croatian counterparts.
A number of bilateral meetings will take place until Thursday between the two Foreign Ministries as they look to strengthen ties and start working on cooperation deals.
Meanwhile, Iran and Croatia have announced that they will be expanding ties after head of the Croatia-Iran Parliamentary friendship Group Mladen Novak met with Iranian officials in Tehran. Novak welcomed the expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries, especially in the field of economy and industry.
Iran and Croatia established diplomatic relations in 1992 when Iran became the 7th country to recognise the newly independent Croatia. Both have embassy’s in each other’s capitals.
